if they come for us, we'll hide in my jar

i remember how transient life is

and why it is important to love

that is why i must admit

i have a love affair with MaryJane

so much on my mind that it spills outside

it’s hard to say what’s on my mind

because words are always one step behind

self revelations and illusive sensations

unattended, only for a minute

i’ll be out of this place

as soon as you tell me where the night is

and if they come for us,

we’ll hide in my jar

this could be beautiful

(it is)

swimming through my veins, she tries to explain

the sound of yesterday’s trains, and cinder remains

a dimension that warrants close attention

a new generation of love, where everything is beautiful

everything is magical, everything is lovely

we are exhausted from flames of light

we can laugh and dance in the sun

and fly away in the changing wind

fly high high high high

coughed out my heart in the last stall

pulsating cars and vibrating stars

entertain your childhood friends

with a tour of the ship, we sail today

we’ll lose our minds along the way

but that is quite alright

every walk we take is like a walk in the park

every lighter we ignite is like a dance in the dark

we will lose our perceptions of our days

we will lose our chains and wayward ways

with a tinted heart and a pocket of smells

past lives mean nothing

nothing’s going to change

it could be the time we’re living in

we’ll never be so young again
